DISNEY VACATIONS FLORIDA - ORLANDO VILLA RENTALS

The home, has two master bedrooms ands each has an en-suite bathroom.  One bedroom has a king-size bed and the other a queen.   This makes the home ideal for two families that are sharing as each set of parents can have a bedroom with an en suite. 

Both bedrooms have their own TVs each with its own independent cable system.  Hairdryers are supplied - two in the king master en suite and one in the queen en suite.

There is a crib (cot) in the king master bedroom that can be converted to an intermediate or toddler bed. Also available are a high chair and both a single and double buggy (child pushchair).

As well as the two en suite bathrooms to the master bedrooms, the home has another full bathroom (family bathroom) and a half-bath.  The family bathroom serves the three twin bedrooms.  The half bath (i.e. toilet, vanity with sink) is located on the ground floor. For those that prefer to dine at home, Disney Mouse House has a fully equipped kitchen that includes a full cooker, microwave, a coffee maker, blender, four-slice toaster, electric carving knife and a slo-cooker to name just a few. There is also a refrigerator with ice-maker and a dishwasher.  The home has a utility room that has the washer and a dryer (plus iron and ironing board!).

The family room (or lounge) is overlooked by the kitchen. For entertainment the family room has a 50-inch HD flat-screen colour television that has the digital cable system (with a DVR), a DVD player and many (over 70) family and children's DVDs as well as a hi-fi with approximately 60 CDs.

For a formal family dining experience, the villa has a separate full dining area. Unlike most villas our dining table seats 8 but can easily accommodate 10 people.  10 dining chairs are supplied. 

For breakfast dining, the kitchen nook (by the kitchen and family rooms) has a table with four chairs for informal meals.

For the outdoor cooking lover, the home has two BBQs.  Well only one BBQ really as the other technically is a gas grill!  The small BBQ is just outside the pool screen and the gas grill is on the extended lanai area (grill not shown). There is a table with four chairs (see opposite) in the covered lanai area that has a fan above to keep cool whilst dining and a light for evening entertainment.

For those that like to read to relax and unwind whilst at 'home' our reading room has two large comfortable sofas  just for this purpose.  The 'stepped' unit shown in the picture opposite contains many novels - too many to read during your short visit!  As can be seen from the photo, the reading room overlooks, and has access to, the pool area via sliding patio doors.

The home has its own private swimming pool.  To keep insects and wildlife at bay the pool is covered by a 'bird/insect netting cage'.  There are no alligators in the vicinity so if you see one by the pool....it is lost!  The pool has been enlarged (i.e. it is larger than a standard Florida home pool) and measures just over 30 ft x 15ft.  It is 5ft at its deepest and 3ft at its shallowest. The lanai (patio area) has also been enlarged so there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the pool area.

All windows and doors leading to the pool are protected by child safety alarms thus preventing young children from entering the pool area without parents' knowledge.

For Disney vacations in Florida it is important that you have an air-conditioned home.  Disney Mouse House in fact has two air conditioning systems, one upstairs and one downstairs.  This allows you the luxury of setting a more comfortable temperature whilst sleeping and is particularly convenient if you have young children going to bed early in the evening because your own comfort, whilst relaxing downstairs, will not be affected.
