Florida vacation homes, but in particular Orlando rental villas,
provide the ideal accommodation for your Disney World vacations
in Orlando. Most homes have their own private screened
pool although these can vary in size. The standard and
most commonly found size
pool that the vast majority of homes have is 27ft x12 ft.
Also, space around the pool - the lanai - is often very
limiting (in some case barely enough room for sun beds). Even in the smaller Orlando rental villas i.e.
3-bedroom homes with a maximum occupation of 8 people in
these homes, you need a reasonable amount of space for all to be
able to relax in and soak up the sun and enjoy the pool
facilities.
You should also be careful about
renting Florida vacation homes that are not big enough for your
party's needs. Apart from the fact that it will be cramped and
that there will be insufficient space for you all to eat
together (most homes have this problem anyway as owners never
seem to put in large enough dining tables!) Florida rental laws
dictate the maximum number of occupants a home can have.
This number for each home is 'two more than the number of
bedrooms'. So a 3-bedroom home can have maximum eight
people, a 4-bedroom home 10, a 5-bedroom home 12 and so on.
(Children under two do not qualify in this calculation.)
But why should you worry? After all most renters wouldn't
know this law. If caught, a homeowner would be fined and
could also possibly face a custodial sentence. Guests,
would be asked to leave the property. Is this risk and the
cramped conditions really something you want for your
Disney holidays?
Larger Than
Your Average Orlando Rental Villas
Our villa, Disney Mouse House, is an executive 5-bedroom luxury villa sleeping
10 plus a baby/toddler. Yes we could have a sofa bed or two and sleep
greater numbers, but the truth is we don't want OUR guests to have to
make do. We want them to have a great time and not have their
Disney holidays spoiled by the accommodation. We
offer luxury accommodation with lots of
room for everyone to enjoy their own 'space'. The home has almost 3,200 square feet under cover.
As stated most
pools are standard size i.e. 324 square feet surface area, our
screened pool has been enlarged and has approximately 450 square
feet of surface area.
Our lanai area
too has been extended by approximately 220 square feet, we
supply more than sufficient seating and sun beds for all guests,
and there is ample room plus more besides for everyone to enjoy
the outdoor facilities provided.
As for our
dining facilities, our dining table can seat 10 people. We
also supply more than enough cutlery (silverware), crockery,
glassware, plastic wear (for the lanai area), pots and pans etc.
for the number of people that the home sleeps. We
continually improve the home for our guests' enjoyment. We simply feel that
as a 5-bedroom villa one should not compromise on comfort and
'space' merely for profit (as many 4 and 5 bedroom owners of Orlando
villa rentals do). Perhaps
this is why we get many repeat visitors!
